Reviewing this list of names brings back memories of shared classes, sports, jokes shared, wishes made. We miss them all. Classmates, as you learn of others, please report this in the “Comments” section at the bottom of this page. (Note: Linda Mullen, pictured above, writes that she is, in fact, NOT deceased. Good News!)

My brother, Harold Lumley, died in 2004 not 2014 as the result of a car accident. He was re-ended. Thanks for noting his passing.
Hello Edna, My name is Julie Cross Hinz. Your brother Harold took a road trip across country in 60’s. He & my cousin came down to SW GA where my Aunt was from. I wanted let you know many times I have thought of & wished to Thank Harold for his service to our country in Vietnam War! He wrote me letters & sent me many wonderful photos (which I lost in a fire) during his tour. As a Vietnam Era Veteran myself, I just have always wanted to reach out & find him to say Thank You personally. I am very saddened to learn of his death in 2004 from an auto wreck. My cousin is here this week, his Mother was flown from CA here for her final resting place. So, to you, I would like to say Thank You to Harold G. Lumley for his service to our country. I thought so much of him & wish I still had all those letters/photos he shared with me from Nam. I am now 63 and have dedicated many years to volunteering with Veterans. Harold G. Lumley was the first one I ever knew. I was too young to understand about the war back then. Today, we all truly understand the sacrifice & some of the hardships these Heroes of the Vietnam War had to face after returning. I hope Harold had a wonderful life, he was a Great American Hero!

Thanks Lori. Our thoughts are with you. We will carry this on the website. But we are graduates of the SAHS class of 1965.
So sad to see so many of my old classmates have passed away. Such a shock to see Joyce Zeller is gone. Enjoy the reunion kids, it may be the last time you see each other.
I have heard from a mutual friend that Linda Mullen passed away.
Very sad to hear about Linda Mullen. What a sweet, hard-working, brilliant girl she was at SAHS.
Hi Carolyn,
Christine Carr here just want to send you good vibes,
You were always a light!

Richard DelaRiva, passed away a couple years ago.
Thank you Alice for in information ,may he rest in peace
I’m so sad about his passing! He was like a brother to me In high school! May he rest in peace!!
I am sad to report that Robert “Red” Fullmer is deceased. I went to his memorial in Las Vegas but I’m sorry I can’t give a date.
Just remembered that two other classmates have also passed away. Albert Grijalva and Alfred Grijalva. I do not know the dates.
My Mother was Joan Barry… you have her last name spelled wrong (“Berry”) on this list! Can you please correct her name on this list and add her married name as “Girotti”? Thanks so much!
We have heard that there was a memorial for her and I’m hoping that her name was spelled correctly on the memorial???
Can you please check that and get back to me and let me know?
Thanks so much!
Mindee – I’m back on the job and fixing the spelling now. Fortunately, Arline Radillo Greene was more on top of it and the Memorial she prepared for the Reunion had the correct spelling.
As I was not able to attend again this year I have just now started going through all the information posted. It truly breaks my heart to see that we have lost so many. Our class was really large and I have to say I did not know all of them, but I did know a lot of them. My thoughts and prayers to all their families and friends.
This is a message for Gwen Hollowell Ferguson: Gwen, what a sweet message you left. I am happy to say that including me on the list of the deceased was (thankfully) premature. It was so nice to see your message–those were the days, weren’t they?
Best wishes!
I am MORTIFIED that we deceased you prematurely! Please consider yourself fully resurrected! And could you send along your snail mail address to SAHSReunion1965@gmail.com. Please do come to our ’55 reunion!
Barbara
Dennis Lien, who I believe was class of ’65, passed away in June, 2011. We had met at a fair where we were selling our jewelry, somehow Santa Ana came up an we found our common high school. I was ’66. If I am wrong about the date, I apologize, but it is what i remember. He was in a long term relationship with a really nice lady, but was in treatment for what I thought was an agent orange related cancer. We talked a lot about VN and the casualties during and since…..
I forgot to mention, this was in Tulsa, OK.
Thanks! Nice to know. Dennis wasn’t in our yearbook but WAS in class of 1965. I will make sure he gets included on our “deceased” list.
Do you know what branch of service he was in? I am guessing US Army for now. I’ll add him to our Veteran’s Tribute page.
Thanks Hannah (Pam)!

I’m sorry that I have to send this email, but I wanted to let you know that Shirley Wycoff Belhi passed away on Sept. 1, 2016 from a stroke. She was visiting her daughter and her family in Las Vegas when got sick. There was no service. She will be missed by her family and her many friend.
Linda, I am sooo glad to know that you are still with us. I still vividly recall the incredible number of candle observations you made in Chemistry class! In my opinion, you were the smartest student at SAHS.
